Medak: Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao has alleged that caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was making IT department to conduct raids on Congress leaders’ houses afraid of defeat in the ensuing elections.
Speaking to the media here on Saturday, VH said KCR was trying to create differences among the people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States by making provocative statements against Andhra leaders, especially against his AP counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu. He also dubbed Prime Minister Narendra Modi as ‘Bada Modi’ at the Centre and KCR as ‘Chota Modi’ in the State and charged them with deceiving the people. He exuded confidence that the Congress would sweep the elections as people were responding to Congress well. (NSS)
