Hyderabad : TPCC Election Strategy Committee chairman V Hanumanth Rao today complimented TDP national president and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for suggesting to the constituents of Mahakootami not to remain rigid on sharing of seats for the ensuing State Assembly elections.
Speaking to mediapersons here today, Hanumanth Rao said he agrees totally with Chandrababu Naidu and paid him compliments. Irked over not being invited to the meeting on the Backward Classes convened in New Delhi, Hanumanth Rao said he would ask the screening committee members Bakthacharan Das and Uttam Kumar Reddy. He also demanded the duo as to why Congress senior leaders Ponnala Laxmaiah and Rapolu Ananda Bhaskar were not invited to the BC meeting.
The three-time Rajya Sabha member said he would request the Congress High Command to earmark 34 Assembly seats for the BCs at the rate of two seats in each parliamentary constituency. (NSS)
