Parts of Hyderabad will be without drinking water for 30 hours, beginning at 6 a.m. on August 19 and ending at 12 p.m. on August 20. The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) is carrying out necessary junction works as part of the Manjeera Water Supply Phase-2 project, which is causing this interruption.
The water supply would be cut off in Erragadda, SR Nagar, Ameerpet, KPHB Colony, Kukatpally, Moosapet, and Jagathgiri Gutta. Furthermore, water service would be disrupted in locations such as RC Puram, Ashok Nagar, Miyapur, Lingampally, Chanda Nagar, Deepthisri Nagar, Madinaguda, Beeramguda, and Ameenpur until midday on August 20.
The HMWS&SB has advised residents to use water sparingly during this time period in order to minimize the inconvenience caused by the water supply outage. This maintenance work is critical for guaranteeing the long-term effectiveness of the water delivery infrastructure.
