Welfare continues in TS : Satyavathi gives tricycles to physically disabled

Tribal Welfare Minister, Satyavathi Rathod today claimed that the Telangana government is according top priority for welfare schemes.

The government is providing all support and financial assistance to the physically challenged persons in the state she said.

She distributed battery-run tricycles to 101 physically challenged beneficiaries at a program in Jayashankar Bhupalapally district with MLA GV Ramana Reddy. The vehicles given by corporations of physically challenged are useful the minister said.

The minister claimed that despite revenue losses incurred due to the Corona pandemic and lockdown the state is providing seamless services for the poor. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has been implementing efficiently the welfare schemes for the cause of the poor. About Rs 40,000 Cr being spent for welfare schemes in Telangana state and no other state is doing that.

The district got a 100-bed hospital when Madhusudhan Rao was the speaker she said. Now MLA is getting Development works to the district with T hub, oxygen plant and regional sub center, and several others. Despite Corona’s effects, the KCR Government is offering Rythu Bandhu to all eligible farmers.

The minister said that Rs 500 per acre being offered to the farmers now. The government offers are 7500 Cr to help about 65 lakhs of farmers under the scheme. No other state is offering such schemes including Rythu Bandhu, Bhima, pensions, and marriage benefit schemes. KCR kits scheme helped deliveries in Government hospitals.

She also laid the foundation stone for Ekalavya school and visited a hospital. Later offered a KCR Kit to a woman after delivery.
