Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar, IPS, has issued Preventive Detention order against Ghodawath Vivek alias Vivek Jain, a white collar offender of Banjara Hills Police Station on November 11.
Ghodawath Vivek, 29, working as sales executive in Messrs Rysun Jewels, Anand Nagar Colony, Palthan, Malakpet, committed offences of cheating, criminal breach of trust, forgery and criminal intimidation in the limits of Hyderabad Police Commissionerate. His activities were spreading fear among the general public adversely affecting the public order.
The Banjara Hills Police arrested the accused on April 29 this year under Section 420, 406, 468, 471 IPC of Narayanaguda PS. The Preventive Detention Order was executed on him on November 14 and was lodged in Central Prison, Chanchalguda.
