Will join protest against Vizag steel Plant pvt bid: KTR asks AP Govt to support TS in future

Even as the BJP Government has informed the parliament of privatizing Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana Government today came in support of Jagan Mohan Reddy Government to oppose it.

In a significant development, TRS working president and Minister for IT and Industries, KT Rama Rao today said that he will join the protests against the privatization of Vizag Steel.  The IT and Industries minister further stated that if necessary I will go to Visakhapatnam and extend support to the agitators at the steel Plant. However, he gave a rider that the AP government has to come to the support of the Telangana Government in its fight against similar issues. We will support AP Government and it has to support us on such issues, KT Rama Rao remarked.

Telangana will give all its support to its AP counterpart, which has to do so if any such companies are up for sale or privatization in the future, he said.
