Last year, Wuhan completed a comprehensive nucleic acid testing campaign. During this, they tested nearly 10 million residents in 19 days.

On Tuesday, Wuhan, the capital of China’s Hubei province where the pandemic is said to have originated in 2019, launched a new testing drive. This comes after several infections emerged amongst the migrant workers on Monday.
