YSRTP founder president YS Sharmila today said that she would launch her padayatra from the Chevella Assembly constituency like her late father.
She said that she had founder her party as there was a need to do so for the people of the state and added that she had not founded the party for her own benefit.
She made it clear that she and her brother and AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy were representing two different states and added that they were confined to their states. Commenting on the tag her late father carried as an anti-Telangana leader, she said that her father was not an anti-Telangana leader.

Addressing media persons she asked the opponents of YSR to visit the villages of Telangana and inquired from the people about his father. She said that the final struggle for the separate Telangana state began after the death of her father.
She said that the people of Telangana were now facing injustice in the present rule. She said that Telangana was her soil and added that her party would fight for the people of the state.
Targeting CM KCR, she asked if the CM had ever taken the issue of Krishna water seriously and wondered if there was no need for the CM to attend the meetings held by the central government on the issue.

She said that she would not leave even a single drop of water belonging to Telangana. She criticized the ruling TRS party and said that nobody would give a seat to a woman sarpanch in the pink party.
Targeting State Minister KTR she asked the minister as to what he was doing for the unemployed youth of the state. She said that she would treat KTR as a powerful leader in the state if he released job notifications.
