Zil Hijjah moon sighted, Eid uz Zuha on August 22 in Hyderabad

Sadar Majlis Ulema e Deccan, which is responsible for Moon sighting to count lunar based Islamic months, finally confirmed that the Zil hijjah moon has been sighted in few parts of the India. According to the press note issued later, Committee clarified that it was informed lately that the moon sighted in Mudari City of Tamilnadu. Consequently Qazi Salahuddin of Chennai was contacted and he confirmed that the moon was sighted, therefore the Central Ruyat Hilaal Committee , Sadar Majlis Ulema e Deccan announced that the 13th August, Monday will be the first day of Dhul-Hajjah 1439 Hijri which means Eid uz Zuha will fall on the 22nd of the August 2018. Earlier, the Committee had declared that the moon was not sighted, however, after confirmation from Chennai Committee reviewed its decision. However, the confusion about other parts is still prevailing. Contradictory reports are arriving about the declaration of moon sighting in Delhi and it is learnt the Delhites will celebrate the Eid on 23rd August 2018.
