After heat wave warning, IMD forecasts rainfall in Telangana today

After issuing a heat wave warning for Telangana yesterday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Hyderabad has forecast rain for the state today. Thunderstorms, lightning, and squalls are forecast for today’s weather.

However, in addition to the rainfall forecast, the weather service has issued a heat wave warning for Telangana.

During the evening or night, Hyderabad is also likely to see light to moderate rainfall or thundershowers. The temperature in Hyderabad is expected to be between 36 and 39 degrees Celsius, with the state as a whole reaching 44 degrees.

According to the Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS), the maximum temperature in the state reached 45.3 degrees Celsius yesterday, with Hyderabad recording 40.1 degrees Celsius. Notably, the highest temperature recorded was 45.3 degrees Celsius in Bhadradri Kothagudem, while temperatures in Peddapalli and Suryapet exceeded 45 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature in Hyderabad was 40.1 degrees Celsius.

Given the heat wave warning issued for Telangana, it is essential for residents of various districts, including Hyderabad, to take precautionary measures, especially when venturing outdoors.

Hyderabad witnesses a downward trend in gold rates

As the state’s monsoon season has been delayed, Hyderabad and several other areas in Telangana are currently experiencing high heat. Skymet, a meteorological forecasting firm, forecasted a four-week delay in the monsoon.

Because of the uncertainty surrounding the arrival of the monsoon, Hyderabad residents are bracing for an extended period of extreme heat.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Hyderabad, the city will continue to endure scorching conditions until June 17. The weather service has issued a yellow advisory for the city, advising residents to be cautious and take appropriate precautions during the excessive heat.
