Bhagwant Mann accuses BJP of misleading the country; calls it ‘Bharatiya Jumla Party’

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann accused the BJP of misleading the country while calling it as the ‘Bharatiya Jumla Party’.

In a speech at the BRS public meeting on Wednesday, he said the BJP was buying opposition parties’ elected legislators and members in order to gain power through backdoor politics and wanted its rule in all the States in the country.

Mann stated the BJP stopped Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal from opening schools in Delhi but showed schools Kejriwal built in Delhi to former US President Donald Trump’s wife when she visited the national capital sometime back. The BJP has failed to keep its promise of doubling farmer income, creating jobs for youth, and crediting Rs 15 lakh into poor people’s accounts.

He said that If the BJP cannot change the country, it at least should change its Independence Day address,

He accused the BJP of selling everything, from airports and public sector companies to the LIC and others, while buying the media.

Mann praised the Kanti Velugu program, calling it an effective public-health initiative. He stated that his government would replicate Kanti Velugu and the construction of integrated collectorate buildings in Punjab, adding that Telangana was progressing and prospering.

He stated that leaders with good intentions, such as Chandrashekhar Rao, were scarce, and that Telangana people loved BRS and cared deeply about the country. The public force was more powerful than political parties and people support those who love them, he added.

Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party chief and former UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said the fight against BJP and efforts to dethrone it, which began in Telangana, would be continued in Uttar Pradesh

The BJP was attempting to take the country backwards by creating the illusion of development and deceiving the public. He said that the Centre was copying the Telangana government’s welfare schemes.
