BJP challenged by Talasani to reveal its benefits to Telangana

With the forthcoming by-elections to the Munugode Assembly constituency, Minister for Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Talasani Srinivas Yadav challenged the BJP to reveal the benefits conferred on Telangana by the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre.

The minister, along with Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy and Telangana Sheep and Goat Development Corporation chairman Dr. Dudimetla Bala Raju, released fishlings into Pedda Cheruvu and launched a vaccination drive at Kistapuram in Munugode mandal.

According to Srinivas Yadav, the leaders of the BJP and Congress parties have been visiting Munugode and making statements indiscriminately in light of the by-elections.

Amit Shah, who frequently visited the State, did not respond to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s challenge to disclose the Center’s contribution to the State’s development.

Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy should clarify to the people how his resignation will benefit the Munugode Assembly constituency, according to him. It is likely that the BJP will end up relegated to third place in the Munugode Assembly constituency. TRS candidate was confident of victory in the by-election.

The opposition parties were confusing Munugode voters with their campaigns, he said, so voters should think twice before voting. If the TRS candidate wins the by-elections, the constituency’s development will accelerate.

His statement noted that sheep distribution to shepherds was a continuous process and that state government welfare schemes were unknown to the BJP leaders. All eligible shepherds across the state will receive sheep units, he said.

As a result of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s comprehensive development plan, Telangana ranked first in implementing development programs and welfare schemes across the country.

Telangana State was the only state providing Rs 2,016 monthly assistance under the Aasara pension to the elderly, disabled, single women, toddy tappers, and weavers, enabling them to live dignified lives. Telangana’s rural economy was also strengthened by the government’s efforts to revive caste-based professions.

As part of the Mission Kakateeya program, Jagadish Reddy said the State government has restored ancient irrigation tanks dating back to the Kakatiya dynasty. Besides improving groundwater levels, the restored irrigation tanks improved the income of fishermen.
