BRS attempting to gain public support for Telangana model in Andhra Pradesh

Dr. Thota Chandrasekhar, president of the BRS Andhra Pradesh, expressed concern about the neglect of the Kapu community, which accounts for a sizable proportion of the population in both Telugu states. He was dissatisfied with political parties exploiting the Kapu, Telaga, Balija, and Ontari communities for their own selfish gain.

Speaking at an event on Tuesday at the BRS AP camp office in Hyderabad, Chandrasekhar urged Kapus not to be swayed by vote bank politics and to support candidates who genuinely work for their welfare. He stated that the TDP and YSRCP only reach out to the Kapu community during elections. He said that the BRS was the only way to achieve social, economic, and political progress for all communities.

He stated that the BRS would contest all Assembly constituencies in Andhra Pradesh in the upcoming elections and urged people to rally behind the BRS leadership in order to replicate the successful Telangana model in AP.
