Case booked after a group creates ruckus at a hotel in Madhapur

A case was registered against a group of people for threatening the management of a hotel and damaging furniture at Madhapur on Wednesday night.

According to the police, a group of people went to the hotel and got into an argument with the staff over some issue.

“Shortly after, a few members of the group became violent, destroying hotel furniture and threatening hotel workers,” Madhapur police said.

The incident took place at around 11:30 PM when at least eight people went inside the hotel and started damaging the property

When the police arrived, they picked up a couple of people. A case has been filed, and an investigation is currently underway.

Youngster arrested in a burglary case in Madhapur

In other news, the Madhapur police apprehended a 19-year-old boy on burglary charges, and the police recovered Rs.24 lakh, 14 tolas of gold, and 8,134 US dollars from him.

Sakali Shiva Kumar, a Kavuri Hills resident and Narayanpet native, allegedly broke into the home of a businessman in Kavuri Hills Phase II on February 24.

He had previously worked as a domestic helper at the house and had made a duplicate key, which aided him in breaking in.

“When the property owner left, Shiva entered the house by scaling the compound wall and stealing items from the third floor,” said DCP (Madhapur) K Shilpavalli.

Shiva fled the scene on a stolen motorcycle and was on his way to his village when police tracked him down to Shadnagar and caught him after identifying him from CCTV footage.
