CM KCR pledges full support for welfare of journalists

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Friday pledged his full support for the welfare of journalists through the Telangana State Media Academy. He responded positively to the issues raised and directed MLA Chanti Kranti Kiran to coordinate to resolve the issues.

Chandrashekhar Rao, who was invited to be the chief guest at the national conference of the Indian Journalists Union (IJU) to be hosted by the Telangana Union of Working Journalists (TUWJ), responded positively to attending the event.

On Friday, a journalist delegation led by TUWJ president and Telangana State Media Academy chairman Allam Narayana called on the Chief Minister at his official residence in Delhi on Friday.

The Chief Minister recalled his bonding with Telangana journalists dating back to the Telangana movement.

He stated that in recognition of their contributions to the establishment of Telangana State, the State government established a Rs 100 crore fund for the welfare of journalists. He emphasized that, unlike any other state in the country, the state government has implemented several welfare schemes for journalists.

Allam Narayana and MLA Chanti Kranti Kiran were present, as were TUWJ general secretary A Maruti Sagar, A Bhaskar, and others.

CM KCR returns to Hyderabad

CM KCR returned to Hyderabad on Friday evening after a five-day visit to Delhi. Apart from inaugurating the BRS national office, he was busy meeting with leaders of like-minded political parties, farmers unions, and experts from various fields who were eager to join his efforts to bring about a qualitative change in national politics.

On Friday, the BRS President paid a visit to the party office on Sardar Patel Marg and greeted the party leaders and activists who had come to meet him. Several leaders from neighboring Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh have called on the Chief Minister and evinced interest in joining the BRS in the last two days. They explained how they intend to bring change in the respective States.

Chandrashekhar Rao, who listened to them, promised to announce the party’s national agenda as well as an action plan to combat the BJP government’s anti-people policies at the Centre. As a result, they were encouraged to join the party.
