Hyderabad: The Telangana State Government today set up a scrutiny committee to finalize Minority candidates to pursue foreign education under Chief Minister’s Overseas Scholarship scheme.
The Minorities department on Monday issued orders to this effect and the committee will finalize the candidates to purse higher education in post-graduation and doctoral studies in foreign countries. The committee has a chairman and four members. The Minorities Welfare Principal Secretary will head the committee and members, including principal secretary of SCD Department, JNTU Vice Chancellor, Technical Education Commissioner and Minorities Welfare Director, secretary Dana Kishore said in a GO.(NSS)
