COVID-19 Recovery rate in Telangana Passes 82% Mark

The recovery rate of COVID-19 cases of Telangana has passed the 82 percent mark as the state keeps on observing more than 2,000 recoveries every single day, health officials announced on Tuesday.

An aggregate of 2,143 individuals recouped from the infection during the last 24 hours ending Monday at 8 p.m.

With this, the total recoveries in the state mounted to 1,44,073.

The covid recovery rate has risen up in Telangana state to 82.43 percent against the national average of 80.82 percent.

The state’s COVID-19 count took a jump to 1,74,774 with 2,166 new cases filed during the last 24 hours, authorities said.

10 additional individuals died to the infection during the period, increasing the death count in the state to 1,052.

The case casualty rate in the state stands at 0.60 percent against the national average of 1.60 percent.

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) filed 309 new cases, Rangareddy area reported 166 new cases while the tally in Medchal Malkajgiri raised up by 147.

The count of cases in Karimnagar increased by 127 and in Nalgonda by 113. Warangal Urban reported 95 new cases, Nizamabad and Mahabubabad 90 each, Siddipet 88 and Khammam 87.

As indicated by a media notice published from the workplace of the director of public health and family welfare, 53,690 tests were led during the last 24 hours.
