Welfare Minister Koppula Eashwar stated that Dalit Bandhu benefits would be provided to 500 Dalits in every assembly constituency very soon. He announced that another phase of Dalit Bandhu would be launched in the next three months, and that beneficiary selection would also be undertaken.

The Dalit Bandhu scheme, which was introduced for the development of Dalits, was yielding good results and a significant change had occurred in the lives of the beneficiaries, the Minister said on Thursday after laying foundation stones for various developmental works in Dharmaram mandal.

According to Eashwar, Telangana is the only state in the country that prioritizes people’s welfare. The welfare schemes implemented in the state by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao have become a model for the rest of the country.

Later, the minister distributed sewing machines to 68 beneficiaries approved through the SC corporation.
