“Dawaa Dost” medical store opened at Khairatabad Metro Station

As per the latest reports, Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) in partnership with Dawaa Dost launched medical shops selling generic medicines for passengers.

On Friday, Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) in collaboration with Dawaa Dost, opened a series of medical shops selling generic medicines to passengers at the Khairtabad Metro Rail Station.

In the presence of Dawaa Dost CEO Amit Chowdhuri and senior metro rail officials, HMRL Managing Director NVS Reddy inaugurated the first Dawaa Dost store at Khairatabad Metro Station.

Dawaa Dost will soon open stores in other metro stations such as Ameerpet, KPHB, HITEC City, MGBS, and others.

These shops are only available at metro railway stations. It should be noted that generic medicines are less expensive and thus prove to be more beneficial to customers.

Customers can purchase medicines at huge discounts

NVS Reddy, who unveiled the first store at Khairatabad Metro Station, stated, “It’s good news for passengers and visitors that a pocket-friendly medical store called Dawaa Dost is now available at Khairatabad Metro Station.”

Reddy said passengers and visitors can now conveniently explore a wide range of generic medicines and other pharma products with attractive discounts ranging from 15 to 80%.

“We welcome Dawaa Dost at Hyderabad Metro Rail. With their Hyper Frequency Store at Khairatabad Metro Station, passengers and visitors can now purchase generic medicines and other pharmaceuticals with huge discounts on the go”, Reddy said.

At the moment, Hyderabad Metro Rail serves over 2 lakh passengers per day while adhering to all COVID-19 safety protocols.

In 2021, Dawaa Dost was also inaugurated in the general waiting hall on platform number one of Secunderabad railway station by the Indian Railways Station Development Corporation (IRSDC).

In the presence of railway and IRSDC officials, Divisional Railway Manager Abhay Kumar Gupta inaugurated the outlet.
