Revanth Reddy kicked off the padayatra from Madimyala and ended it at Chevella. Reddy performed prayers at Chilkur Balaji temple before launching his Yatra. The padayatra later culminated into a public meeting.

Speaking to media persons on the occasion, Digvijay Singh said that it had become Greg difficult for the common man of the country to live in BJP rule. He said that the Congress party had always fought for the poor people of the country and added the party was organizing nationwide protest rallies to highlight the plight of the poor people and demand the central government to take steps for the reduction of inflation. He called upon the people of the state to extend their support to the Congress party.

TPCC chief Revanth asked CM KCR why he was not reducing the prices of petrol and diesel in Telangana. He said that although the prices of petrol and diesel are coming down in the international market, the prices of the two essential commodities were not coming down in the country.

Targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that the PM had cheated the people of the country by retracting from his promise of depositing ₹15 lakh in the bank accounts of each and every citizen of the country. He also said that Modi had retracted from his promise of filling up 2 crore jobs every year. He alleged that the prices of liquor and the domestic gas cylinders had been increased by the state and central governments.
