Cyberabad CP VC Sajjanar today performed the Foundation stone and bhumi pooja ceremony for the construction of a New Police station building for Bachupally Mandal.
Malkajgiri MP A. Revanth Reddy, Quthbullapur MLA KP Vivekananda, MLC Shambipur Raju, Aurobindo Pharma foundation directors S K Nithyananda Reddy and P. Sarath Chandra Reddy were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion Sajjanar said that Hyderabad, being a metropolitan city and a hub to many national and international business houses, was rapidly expanding its horizons. With the rapid expansion of the city safety and security concerns of the citizens are also growing, he said while noting that the state government has taken up massive up-gradation of police infrastructure to address these concerns.
Govt. “I would like to thank “Aurobindo Pharma foundation directors K Nithyananda Reddy and P. Sarath Chandra Reddy” for donating Rs. 3.13 Crores under the CSR scheme for the construction of the Police station building. The Bachupally Police Station will be a Model Police Station in the country,”
He said. He appealed to people to encourage green cover by themselves taking up tree plantations.
Aurobindo Pharma foundation director K Nithyananda Reddy said that the foundation, as part of its CSR programs to address social, security concerns of the society, was constructing a modern building for Bachupalli police station with an outlay of Rs. 3.13 Crores.
He said that the building would have Ground plus 2 floors with a total area of 16350 Sft. He said that they would complete and hand over the building to the department by the end of this year. He said that the state government had allotted one acres 31 guntas of land for the construction of the new police station building.

Quthbullapur MLA KP Vivekananda said that he was happy to be a part of the Foundation stone laying ceremony. He said that the Aurobindo pharma foundation was a philanthropic arm of Aurobindo pharma Limited and added that it was executing various CSR activities since 2015 in different areas such as education, health, women empowerment, agriculture.
