Much to the chagrin of people and passengers, just a few minutes of another bout of fresh showers has turned several parts of the Hyderabad city, especially the Bahadurpura stretch into a cesspool and muddy quagmire as water logging hit the movement of vehicles hard.
As usual, the rain water gushed into houses in low laving areas under Bahadurpura limits while the situation close to under construction site of bridge turned inexplicable again were the storm water, swarming from upward direction, caught the passengers by surprise who finds it difficult to pass the stretch floating into clogged water.
More pathetic is the situation closer to the site where the main piers of the bridge are under construction. Most of the passengers, either two or three wheelers, were seen facing a tough time to cross the point that forms a curve of nearly one kilometer due to barricades placed by the authorities to keep the traffic off to the flyover.

Known as the most frantic choking point on the entire National Highway-44 from Puranapul to Shamshabad, the Bahadurpura cross road point turned into a perilous route for passengers every time the rain showers. Already the people are obnoxious over the procrastination in completing the bridge which was grounded almost nine years ago along with other bridges in the new city area that was completed and even opened for the public long ago.
Meanwhile similar was the reports from other parts of the city too where passengers were incessant rain, that caught the commuters all of a sudden, continued for almost an hour turning the streets and main thoroughfares of several low lying areas of old city into ponds.
