Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court today directed the state government to respond by tomorrow in the PIL filed challenging the GO 112 issued on October 12, 2020 for regularizing the unregistered sale transactions (Sadabainama) under the Telangana rights in land and pattadar passbooks Act, 1971. It issued notices to the state government in the issue.
The petitioner, in the PIL moved in the form of lunch motion, contended that the Act 1971 is now repealed by virtue of Telangana rights in land and pattadar passbooks Act, 2020, and hence the said GO is liable to be set aside.
