Hima Kohli new Chief Justice of TS High Court

Hyderabad: In a major reshuffle Supreme Court has made some key announcement of shifting of high court Chief Justices across the country.

Consequently, two Telugu states got the new Chief Judges. Hima Kohli is the new Telangana Chief justice and Arup Kumar Goswamy is Andhra Pradesh’s new chief justices.

According to the announcement the Supreme Court has taken a decision in this regard followed by a Collegium Meeting on December 14. While Telangana got Hima Kohli replacing incumbent CJ, RS Chauhan who was shifted to Uttarakhand high court.

Andhra Pradesh HC got Arup Kumar Goswamy as its new CJ by replacing the incumbent JK Maheshwari was transferred to Sikkim high court.

The collegium has also made transfers of high court justices in the states of Karnataka, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Jammu, and Kashmir.
