Hyderabad police apprehend 3 people for robbing Rs 10 lakh from a businessman

As per the latest reports, the Hyderabad police apprehended three people for robbing Rs 10 lakh from a businessman at Bahadurpura.

According to the police, the man collected the money from Ambica Iron and Steel Hyderabad Private Limited on Puranapul road and was on his way back when three people reportedly attacked him and stole the money.

After receiving the information, the Bahadurpura police arrived on the scene and acquired CCTV footage from the nearby installed closed-circuit cameras.

Senior police officers also visited the scene and oversaw the efforts to apprehend the perpetrators.

The accused were apprehended by the Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force team on Tuesday and were handed over to the Bahadurpura police station. The money was recovered from the alleged snatchers.

Fake cigarette manufacturing unit busted in Telangana

A duplicate cigarette manufacturing unit was busted and a person was apprehended by the Task Force team. Police confiscated 500 sacks of tobacco and raw materials totalling Rs 2 crore.

A Task Force team, along with Sultan Bazar police, raided Yousuf Supplying Company in Sultan Bazar and uncovered a duplicate cigarette making racket based on specific information provided by a cigarette manufacturing company executives.

It was reported that others involved in the duplicate cigarette making racket were absconding.

Police seized 500 bags of tobacco, each weighing 25 kilogrammes, 170 cartons of cigarette filters, over 400 rolls of various brand cigarette papers, and six rolls of silver paper. According to police, the suspects have been making duplicate cigarettes of various brands of a manufacturing company and selling them to shops for a profit. The accused were brought before the court for judicial remand.
