Hyderabad Police provide guidelines for SI job aspirants

The Hyderabad City Police has provided guidelines and instructions to candidates appearing in the preliminary recruitment exams for Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Sub-inspectors (SCTSIs) and equivalent posts, scheduled for Sunday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., across 33 centers in the city.

In accordance with official guidelines, candidates will have access to the exam hall beginning at 9 a.m., and they will be able to enter after 10 a.m. Due to biometric attendance recording, candidates will not be allowed in even if they are a minute late.

It was advised that candidates avoid applying mehendi and tattoos to their hands. In the examination hall, only the hall ticket with a photo is permitted, along with a pen; bags, calculators, cell phones, and gadgets are prohibited.

A seat will be assigned to each candidate with a roll number, and the invigilator will inform them of the remaining time periodically. Additionally, candidates must adhere to Covid protocols and wear a mask during exams.

Earlier on Friday, Joint Commissioner of Police (Admin) M.Ramesh held a video conference to discuss security and traffic arrangements and instructed officials to make foolproof arrangements.

During the transportation of confidential materials, the Joint Commissioner requested the Traffic Wing ensure the roads abutting the exam centers are free of congestion. The Station House Officers were instructed to keep an eye on suspicious persons in the vicinity of the exam center and to maintain a security perimeter.

Prior to this, job aspirants were being trained by the police in some districts to compete for jobs. Siddipet police had announced that they must qualify to be considered for coaching.

SP Rahul Hegde also announced free coaching for job aspirants in Rajanna Sircilla district, not only for police posts but also for other group exams.
