Hyderabad: Traffic restrictions announced in view of Eid-Al Adha prayers

In view of the Eid-Ul-Adha(Bakrid) prayers to be held at Mir Alam Tank Eidgah and Hockey Ground in Masab Tank from 8 am to 11.30 am on Sunday, traffic restrictions will be placed in the surroundings.

Prayer at Mir Alam Tank Eidgah:

In order to reach the Eidgah, Mir Alam Tank for prayers, vehicles coming from Puranapul, Kamatipura, and Kishanbagh must use the Bahadurpura X Roads from 8 am to 11.30 am and should park in designated parking areas.

During this time period, general vehicular traffic will not be permitted towards Eidgah, Tadban, Kishanbagh, Kamatipura, and Puranapul.

The Nehru Zoological Park parking area, in front of Masjid Allah-ho-Akbar, will provide parking spots.

For prayers, vehicular traffic (Namazees) is allowed between 8 a.m. and 11.30 a.m. through Dannama Huts X Roads between Shivarampally and Danamma Huts. As a result, general traffic will not be allowed toward Eidgah during this period and will be diverted towards Shastripuram, NS Kunta, etc., at Danamma Huts ‘X’ Roads.

The parking will be available at the Modern Saw Mill parking lot in front of the Eidgah main road, the Mir Alam filter bed, the open space beside the Mir Alam filter bed, as well as the Yadav parking lot.

It will be possible for vehicles coming from Kalapather towards Eidgah Mir Alam Tank for prayers to cross through Kalapather Law and Order PS from 8 am to 11.30 am. General traffic will be diverted away from Eidgah during this time to Mochi Colony, Bhadurpura, Shamsheergunj, and Nawab Saheb Kunta.

There is parking available at Bhayya Parking, Indian Oil Petrol Pump, and Vishaka Cements Shop beside BNK Colony.

It was announced that heavy vehicles including RTC buses coming from Puranapul towards Bahadurpura would be diverted at Puranapul Darwaza towards Jiyaguda and City College side until the entire congregation disperses after prayers from the Eidgah between 8 am and 11.30 am.

At Aramgarh Junction, heavy vehicles and RTC buses headed towards Bahadurpura will be diverted towards Shamshabad or Rajendranagar, or Mailardevpally sides until the entire congregation disperses after prayers.

Prayer at Hockey Ground in Masab Tank:

The Masab Tank flyover will be closed to vehicular traffic and traffic from Mehdipatnam and Lakdi-ka-pul will be permitted only on the flyover between 7 am and 10 am.

Mehdipatnam traffic towards Banjara Hills Road No.1 via Masab Tank will be diverted through a flyover through the Masab Tank – Ayodhya Junction – Khairatabad RTA Office – Taj Krishna Hotel.

In the same way, traffic from Lakdi-ka-pul towards Masab Tank will be diverted towards Nirankari – Khairatabad – VV Statue – Khairatabad RTA Office – Taj Krishna Hotel via Masab Tank. It will not be

possible to drive from below the Masab Tank flyover to Banjara Hills Road No.1 until after the prayers have ended.

Traffic from Banjara Hills Road No.1 will not be allowed to pass through Masab Tank and will be diverted through Taj Krishna Hotel to RTA Khairatabad. Traffic from NFCL Junction, Punjagutta will be diverted at Taj Krishna Hotel towards Erramanzil Colony, RTA Khairatabad, Nirankari, Lakdi-ka-pul, and Masab Tank flyover.

Prayer at Langar Houz Area:

At the junction of Balika Bhavan and Laxmi Nagar, traffic will be diverted from Nanal Nagar towards Andhra Floor Mill.

The traffic from MD Lines and Balika Bhavan will not be allowed to go towards Military Hospital and will be diverted to Andhra Floor Mill instead.

Traffic from Langar Houz will be diverted from Military Hospital and towards Moghal-Ka-Nala via Eidgah at Military Hospital.
