ICMR warns of Third Wave, Issues Guidelines

Even as the severity of the Covid-19 second wave started receding,  the Indian Council of Medical research has warned about the possibility of a third wave and issued guidelines to be followed strictly to avoid it.

ICMR has warned that if the third wave of corona strikes,  many lives will be lost,  and hence people should be very,  very careful about it.

The following guidelines should be strictly followed to prevent the third wave,  the Council stressed: Put-off foreign trips by two years. Don’t take outside food for one year. Avoid unnecessary marriages and other functions.  Don’t undertake travels and pilgrimage trips.  At least for one year,  avoid going to crowded places.  Strictly observe the social distance.  Keep away from persons who cough.  Wearing a face mask is essential.

When you go out, don’t use a belt, rings, and wristwatch.   It’s time for mobile now.  Don’t use a handkerchief.  If necessary,  use sanitizer and tissue. Don’t take shoes inside the house,  but keep them outside.  When you reach home from outside, wash your hands and legs.  When you feel that a person with any disease came near you,  take a full bath.
