Jagadish Reddy Slams CM Jagan for Writing to Modi on Projects

Power Minister G Jagadish Reddy today launched a scathing attack on the AP Government for trying to dupe people on irrigation projects.

The minister took exception to the Jagan government for writing to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the power and irrigation projects. The Centre has to address the issues and does justice to Telangana people as the AP Government is trying to loot our waters.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is for protecting our rights of water and power through production. In Krishna Basis we can get our water and produce power he asserted.

We will produce the power as per irrigation norms and get our water share of water, Jagadish Reddy said. He expressed displeasure that the AP Government urged the Centre for justice by violating the norms of the irrigation projects. They violated the conditions and misguiding the people, he fumed. We will move the court if justice was not done by the centre he said.

The Centre should direct the Jagan Government to follow green tribunal, Krishna board directions and stop the illegal construction of the works he said. The state has formed to get water and use its resources, Jagadish Reddy said.

He told media persons that the Jagan Mohan Reddy Government is indulging in a misinformation campaign on the irrigation projects. It is looting our waters by widening the canals and increasing the drawing capacity he charged.

The AP Government makes deliberate attempts to malign the present environment on irrigation projects and power production. There is no wrong to produce power as per norms and the AP should stop behaving smart, he suggested. The AP government should allow the official team to take stock of the works in the projects.

Telangana Government will not hesitate to move the court to protect its share of waters from rivers.
