Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President and MP A. Revanth Reddy today accused Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao of adopting a devilish approach against the employees and teachers through GO 317 to pursue his divisive politics.
He warned that nearly four lakh employees and teachers would revolt against KCR Govt if it did not withdraw the controversial GO immediately.
He was addressing a meeting at Gandhi Bhavan on the occasion of re-joining of Teachers’ Union leader G. Harshvardhan Reddy and his followers into the Congress party.
Speaking on the occasion , The TPCC President said that that GO 317 had been causing immense pain and mental torture to the employees and teachers. He said that teachers, who were supposed to go to schools to teach children, were forced to besiege the Pragathi Bhavan and added They were being arrested and humiliated on the streets by the KCR Govt. He accused KCR of playing divisive politics by creating a rift between the seniors and juniors. TRS Govt is wrongly treating locals as non-locals so as to harass the employees and teachers, He said while wondering if KCR continues to work against the interest of Telangana, then four lakh employees would revolt against him. He said that GO 317 had pushed the future of employees and teachers into darkness. Instead of focusing on their duties, they are forced to live in a state of uncertainty and confusion.
Revanth Reddy ridiculed Telangana BJP President Bandi Sanjay’s protest against the GO 317. He pointed out that the BJP Government at the Centre was a partner-in-crime with TRS Govt in bringing this controversial GO. He said that the order was cleared by the Union Cabinet headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and it also got cleared from the President of India. Therefore, both TRS and BJP are responsible for the sufferings caused to employees and teachers through GO 317. He said if the BJP was seriously against the GO, then it could get it squashed by making a representation to the President of India.

The TPCC Chief announced that the Congress party would soon launch a massive agitation demanding job notifications. He condemned the police for causing obstructions in all the programmes being taken by the Congress. Alleging that a few police officials were behaving like TRS leaders, he said that the Congress would reach the people by crossing all obstacles and raise their voice against the KCR Govt in Telangana and BJP Govt at the Centre.
He congratulated Harshvardhan Reddy on returning to the Congress fold. He said AICC Secretary G. Chinna Reddy contested from the Graduate MLC seat as per the AICC directive while Harshvarshvardhan Reddy was already in the fray. He assured Harshvardhan Reddy that he would get proper recognition in the Congress party. He also praised Chinna Reddy for showing a big heart by bringing back Harshvardhan Reddy into the Congress party..
