Telangana Ministers Gangula Kamalakar, Koppula Eshwar today paid rich tributes to Jyothirao Phule on his 195th Jayanthi.
The ministers praised that Phule fought for equal rights of backward people. Telangana Government headed by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is following the ideals of Phule they stated.

Several schemes of welfare are being implemented in the state for the BC community and marginal classes they claimed. The KCR government offers scholarships and allotted more budget to BC community welfare. In the footsteps of Phule our government has started hundreds of schools and colleges for the backward classes the ministers said.
They further said that the government of KCR is for the upliftment of the BCs. Our schemes are meant for the development of the BCs and ensure they get all benefits.

The BC students are studying abroad and higher education by government support they added.
