Liquor sales in Telangana go up at Rs 194 crore on Dec 31

On December 31 the prohibition and excise department has generated a revenue of RS194 crore .owners of wine shop has purchased stock from the deports of Telangana state beverages corporation limited after placing additional indents to meet the customer demand.

They said the shops registered brisk sales from the evening as most customers purchased their favorite brand of liquor.

wine shops across the state usually register over RS70 crore sales every day but on Thursday the sale went up to RS194 crores because of the new year’s celebration. owners of the wine shop said that the sale has been carried out sticking to the covid-19 protocols the officials said
