Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka pays tributes to former CM Sanjeevaiah

CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka today paid tributes to former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh state Damodaram Sanjeevaiah on the occasion of his 101st birth anniversary in the city.

Speaking on the occasion, he termed Sanjeevaiah as a leader without any blot. He said that the life of Sanjeevaiah was an inspiration for the people of the Telugu-speaking states. He said that Sanjeevaiah was the epitome of honesty.

He said the real tribute for Sanjeevaiah was to provide corruption-free politics to the future generations of the country. He said the Congress party had made a Dalit leader like Sanjeevaiah the chief minister of the State 60 years back.

He reminded that Sanjeevaiah led a life of modesty and added that the former CM came from a very humble background. He said Sanjeevaiah had worked as CM of the undivided State for 25 months.

He said the veteran Congress leader had also worked as Union minister in the cabinets of former prime ministers Indira Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Sastri besides discharging his duties as AICC president twice.
