Hyderabad: TRS leader Padma Devender Reddy today criticised the congress leader Jagga Reddy who was arrested in a human trafficking case and called him anti-national.
Talking to press persons at Telangana Bhavan here, Padma slammed the congress for staging protests and bandh against the arrest of Jagga Reddy. She alleged that the congress is supporting a turncoat who is noted for indulging in human trafficking. Padma denied the comments that the TRS leadership has deliberately got him arrested as it was afraid of defeat in the elections. The police have done their job and the government has nothing to do with it. Jagga Reddy did not develop the segment and the people are against him, she said. The TRS will win full mandate and get back to power, she hoped.
The congress should be ashamed of conducting protests against Jagga Reddy’s arrest, she said. She sought to know what for the congress leaders stage protests instead of feeling shame. Has Jagga Reddy participated in Independence fight, she thundered. The previous congress regime filed a case against him for human trafficking case, she said. Jagga Reddy also cheated his own family members by doing such heinous acts. It has become a practice for the congress to support criminals like Jagga Reddy, a traitor, Padma said. (NSS)
