Parents, Students stage protest program before Inter board

The Intermediate students and their parents along with several students unions today staged a protest program before the Intermediate board. They demanded the authorities concerned to pass the students, who have failed in the exams with minimum marks.

They alleged that the authorities were playing with the lives of the students by failing them in their exams. The parents of the students have said that their children had found it very difficult to appear in the first year exams as they were held after six months of the commencement of the exams.

They alleged that the authorities had not Properly conducted the spot valuation. The student union leaders alleged that the policies of the board were responsible for the failure of so many students in the exams. They claimed that several students did not prepare for the exams due to a lack of proper internet connectivity.

 When the activists of the students’ bodies tried to lay siege around the board office, the police stopped them leading to tense moments for some time. The police later arrested the activists and took them to different police stations.
