Amidst the preparations for the panchayat polls, the Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav has found himself in an alleged controversy. He was reportedly distributing money amongst the villagers ahead of the polls.
Video On Social Media Goes Viral
A 21 seconds long video was uploaded on social media by JDU MLC Neeraj Kumar on Friday morning. He alleged that acts like these is a deliberate attempt on Tejeshwi’s part to sway the voters on their side for the upcoming panchayat elections.
While describing the video, Neeraj Kumar said that “who is that prince who is dropping money in the lap of poor villagers”. He said that the poor villagers don’t know him and said that someone said that he is the son o Lalu Prasad Yadav.

Kumar further added that the video indicated the difference between the poor and rich. He said that the he was (allegedly) arrogantly sitting inside the SUV and distributing the money to the villagers.
Neeraj Kumar Slams Tejashwi Yadav Of Being A Robber
Referring to the video, Neeraj Kumar said that distributing money to the poor villagers will not wash clean his image as a robber. He accused Yadav of making a mockery out of the poor people of the state.
However, the time and the place of the video has not been authenticated yet. But it was tweeted by the official Twitter account of JDU MLC Neeraj Kumar. Meanwhile, the timing of the video surfacing online on a public platform is of importance as it comes before the Panchayat elections and a strong model code of conduct is put in force in the state.
This comes after the Tejashwi Yadav was in the Gopalganj to participate in the 10th death anniversary of the former MLA Dev Dutt Prasad in Baikunthpur block on Thursday.
