RTC Starts 25 percent city buses, relife to people,more in week

Hyderabad: In a major relief after six months of the Corona pandemic and its adverse effects, RTC  buses today hit the Hyderabad city’s main roads and outskirts followed by government nod.

In the beginning, the RTC officials allowed only 25 percent of the buses as per instructions given by the Telangana Government.

The buses will be increased to 50 percent on getting responses from people in seven to ten days.

The city has been deprived of the bus facility for the past six months since last March due to the corona effect.

Earlier,  Chief Minister,  K Chandrasekhar Rao at a  Pragati Bhavan meeting with ministers and other senior leaders has on Thursday gave his nod for the same.

After discussing with them KCR has also agreed and given permission to restart the buses on all city routes with a rider.

As the leaders appealed for the resumption of the buses,  KCR has agreed for playing the buses in Hyderabad city.

Also, the buses were allowed to Karnataka and Maharashtra and yet to decide on running them to Andhra Pradesh.

KCR has instructed the transport minister Dr P Ajay Kumar and officials to run buses with corona protocols.

The RTC staff were seen starting their jobs with much enthusiasm and eagerness and corona protocols at all depots.

As per RTC management norms, the buses started in the city giving major relief to people.

 The government asked to follow corona protocols to starting the buses in the city and enable people to take a safe journey.

The RTC officials began the services amid a corona pandemic in the routes of Hyderabad city outskirts.

The TSRTC has earlier began bus services from several depots such as Ibrahimpatnam,  Bandlaguda,  Rajendranagar,  Maheshwaram, and others on the outskirts.

Only 50 percent of passengers being allowed with corona protocols to travel in the buses.

The people get relieved from opting for share autos and others using corona protocols. (NSS)
