Hyderabad: Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy today informed that Rythu Bandhu financial support will be given to all as promised.
The amount given to their bank accounts was put at Rs 6632.74 crore on Thursday Niranjan Reddy said. To date, 58.07lakhs of the farmers have got this benefit of rythu Bandhu the minister said.
In the scheme, Nalgonda stands first with 431665 farmers got Rs 530.07crore and Medchal district last with 29,685 farmers getting Rs 26.82 crore the minister said. Mostly farmers who benefited through the program were in Khammam, Sanga Reddy, and Siddipet districts
Those with 10 acres of land got this benefit first and others will get the same soon the minister said. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has offered about Rs 7115 cr towards the implementation of the same he said. He assured to give the same to the rest of the farmers in three to four days. KCR is for making the farmers happy through Welfare schemes he added.
