Srinivas Yadav pulls up Education officials on schools

Hyderabad: Animal Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav today instructed education officials to strengthen government schools in the city and around. He expressed displeasure at the officials for not taking any action against the private schools for violating fees and other norms.

At a review meeting with DEOs and others, he instructed that all facilities,  infrastructure be put in place at about 745 schools at the earliest.  The minister instructed the officials to submit reports on facilities that need to be improved in the schools. Based on their reports the government will release funds for development works he clarified.

Soon a meeting with education minister Sabitha Indra Reddy will be held to diet out all issues,  the minister has said.

The minister has asked the education officials as to why they do not conduct frequent check-ups on the schools troubling the parents for more fee. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is for strengthening the government schools to offer better education to the poor.  There is no dearth of funds for the same as the plan is to develop then on par with private schools.

Our aim is to offer hassle-free education a better environment, mid-day meals with eggs for three days, and better facilities. Ensure headmasters to eat during mid-day meals supply to the students and maintain quality he said.

The minister also directed to offer the reports on facilities. Adjust students and teachers to other schools as per requirements and norms he said.
