Telangana CM KCR Affirms Friendly Relations with AIMIM and BRS

K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) of Telangana said on Sunday that the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) and the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) are friendly parties. He slammed individuals who refer to AIMIM as the “B-team of the BJP,” emphasizing that AIMIM is fighting for Muslim rights.

KCR further stated that the Congress party allocated Rs. 925 crores between 2004 and 2014, which is less than what TRS allocated in a single year. He voiced optimism about TRS-AIMIM relations, adding, “Inshallah hum milke ladte rahenge” (God willing, we will continue to fight together).

KCR emphasized that TRS is a secular party and promised that the two parties’ good relationship would continue in the future.

Earlier, AIMIM Floor Leader Akbaruddin Owaisi commended Telangana as a national role model for its inclusive progress and lack of sectarian strife over the last nine years. He compared Telangana’s strategy of providing double-bedroom dwellings to the indigent and homeless with other states’ use of bulldozers to demolish impoverished people’s residences.

Owaisi also slammed the Congress party, alleging that Muslims in the country have suffered as a result of riots since independence, mentioning Ajmer and Bhendi as examples.
