The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB), Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC), and Medical Health Services Recruitment Board, among others, have their hands full with the State government issuing necessary permissions.

The TSLPRB had previously announced 17,291 vacancies in the departments of Police, Disaster Response and Fire Services, Prison and Correctional Services, Special Protection Force, Transportation, and Prohibition and Excise. Notifications for police jobs drew a large response, with 91.32 percent of the 2,47,217 registered candidates taking the SI-level preliminary written Test (PWT).

Similarly, 6,61,198 candidates applied, with 91.34 percent showing up for the PC level PWT. Other significant announcements have come from the TSPSC, which announced 15,039 vacancies in various departments in just nine months this year, with more notifications on the way.

Among all the notifications, the TSPSC’s Group-I notification for 503 vacancies was the most celebrated, as it was issued for the first time since Telangana State’s formation. In fact, the preliminary test was also a success for the Commission.

The TSPSC announced another direct recruitment notification for 9,168 vacancies in Group-IV services, providing a plethora of opportunities for the youth to join the government services.

Aspirants for government jobs had more reason to rejoice this year, as interviews were done away for the Group-I and II services recruitment.  After certificate verification, the state government decided to consider candidates’ written recruitment test scores for final selection.

The government, in its efforts to provide quality care in government hospitals, has hired 950 Civil Assistant Surgeons through the Medical Health Services Recruitment Board, which has also announced 1,147 assistant professor vacancies under the Director of Medical Education.

The year 2022 will end on a high note for Telangana government aspirants, with more job notifications expected by the end of this month.
