TRS leader from LB Nagar joins rival BJP

Hyderabad: The opposition BJP appears to have intensified its efforts to poach leaders from the ruling TRS party. A ruling TRS party leader from LB Nagar assembly constituency today joined in the rival BJP.

The TRS leader Jitta Surender Reddy was welcomed into the BJP by its state  Party president  Bandi Sanjay Kumar and union minister of state For home affairs G. Kishan Reddy ahead of GHMC elections. The follower of local MP A. Revanth Reddy, Koppula Narasimha Reddy has already joined the BJP from the Assembly Constituency.

The BJP is roaring to go ahead to face the Local body elections after tasting victory in the Dubbaka assembly segment.  It has already appointed party committees at the local level.

The party has taken the GHMC elections as a prestigious election. The national leadership of the party has appointed senior leader and MP of the Party Tarun Chug as its in charge of the Telangana state.

Tarun is also the national general secretary of the party. It has also appointed another general secretary Bhupendra Yadav as another in charge of the state ahead of the elections. It has also appointed five other leaders of the party as the co-in charge of the party for five districts of the state.

On the other hand, the state party president Bandi Sanjay has appointed a 23 member election management committee of the Party with union minister Kishan reddy as its chairman.
