Congress party MLC T. Jeevan Reddy today alleged that most of the leaders, who encroached upon the controversial endowments lands of devarayamzal village were ruling TRS party leaders.
Speaking to media persons, he alleged that the state government had taken up the inquiry on assigned lands only with an objective to show former minister Etela Rajender as guilty of the same. He demanded the state government to bring out the details of all encroached assigned lands.

He said that the beneficiaries of the assigned lands could not protect them as they were poor. He said that the assigned lands were mutated with the help of the new law brought in the year 2018. He said that no step has been made forward so far although a promise had been made seven years back by the CM of the state KCR on the assigned land issue.
He demanded the state government to identify the actual beneficiaries of the assigned lands and hand the lands over to them. He demanded the state government that the inquiry on the endorsement lands of the entire state should be held. He asked the state government to confer judicial powers on the State Waqf board.
