Hyderabad : TRS candidate Saidi Reddy today filed his nomination for Huzurnagar Assembly bye-election in the presence of Minister Jagadish Reddy.
Speaking on the occasion, Jagadish Reddy alleged that Congress leader N Utham Kumar Reddy had miserably failed to develop the segment. The TRS will now win the seat and spend funds for the development in the segment, he said. He also said the TRS government was committed to the development of Huzurnagar segment. Despite stiff competition, the TRS would wrest the seat from the Congress, he said.
He also said the farmers in the segment were strongly behind Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for giving 24-hour power supply, Rythu bandhu, Rythu Bhima schemes.
Alleging that Uttam had failed as MLA to develop the segment, Jagadish Reddy said the State
government would splurge funds for development of Huzurnagar segment. Party candidate Saidi Reddy said his victory will help develop the segment. If the Congress wins, Uttam will benefit and ignore development in the segment, he said. (NSS)
