Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) Managing Director, VC Sajjanar has instructed officials to ensure that proper facilities are available for passengers during the summer season.
Sajjanar conducted an online review meeting with RTC officials in Bus Bhavan, Hyderabad, and asked them to be ready for the upcoming summer season.
He stated that drinking water should be available at bus stands, as well as facilities such as fans, coolers, benches, and so on should also be present.
He directed officials to resolve passenger issues as soon as possible and to take all necessary precautions to ensure that passengers do not suffer. He stated that the primary goal of providing better service to people should not be overlooked.
He stated that there are many weddings and festivities in March and requested that buses be available to meet the increased demand.
He noted that the discounts available to people who make advance reservations should be highlighted.
RTC is offering a 10 percent discount on renting buses, 10 percent discount on ticket bookings made 46 to 60 days in advance and 5 percent for ticket bookings made 31 to 45 days in advance.
He urged people to take advantage of the discounts provided and use TSRTC services.
The Online Passenger Reservation System (OPRS) software has been updated accordingly. TSRTC officials have also clarified that this discount applies to all services with advance reservation capability.
