Uttam Kumar Lashed Out at CM KCR

TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy today lashed out at the Chief Minister of the state KCR and alleged that the state was witnessing the Covid 19 pandemic due to the impractical attitude of the CM.

He claimed that lakhs of rupees were being charged in the state from the Covid Patients when several states of the country were offering free treatment to them. He said that the state did not have an adequate amount of oxygen, ventilators, and Covid medicines.

 He said that the poor people of the state were not getting beds even after spending money. He said that neither the Aarogyasri scheme nor the central government’s Aayushman Bharat scheme was being implemented in the state by the CM.

He said that the people of the state did not have basic amenities at the government hospitals and added that they were forced to pay lakhs of rupees to avail treatment at the government hospitals. He claimed that hundreds of people were dying due to a lack of medical oxygen.

He said that although the Covaxine vaccine was being produced in the state, it was not available for the people of the state. Stating that remdesivir injections are being produced by Hyderabad Based Hetero drugs, He said that the injections were not available for the people of the state despite the fact that the state government had provided several incentives to the pharma company.

He made these remarks while talking to core committee members of the party through a zoom meeting. The TPCC chief CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka paid rich tributes to the party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Rajiv Satav on his untimely death after being affected by the Covid virus.

He said that the party had lost a great leader and added that his death was a great loss to the party. He recalled that satav had worked as the youth congress national president and MP. Reddy said that satav was very close to the party leader Rahul Gandhi.

He conveyed his deep felt condolences to the family members of satav on behalf of the state party unit. The leaders observed two minutes of silence to pay tributes to satav.
