With Governor nod, Gazette notification new Revenue Act gets teeth

Hyderabad: Telangana state new revenue act has come into force with Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan giving her stamp of approval.

With the governor assent, the government has got new teeth to take on corruption and set right, the system of lands and revenue records, according to information,  With the release of a related gazette notification, the new revenue act will be fully implemented in the state.

The state assembly and Legislative Council have passed a total of 12 bills including the revenue,  VRO posts cancellation Bills, and others.

Also, the monsoon session has passed the bills like the panchayat raj amendment among others.  The state government vouches for new revenue act to ensure, transparent,  speedy, and corruption-free services. People.

Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao has assured of the new revenue act to offer a hassle-free mechanism using the Dharani portal.  It will offer revenue and land records with the necessary details.
