Protesting farmers try to disrupt Haryana CM’s ‘Kisan Mahapanchayat.

On Sunday a tension was prevailed in Haryana’s chief minister Mohan lal Khattar’shome constituency karnal with the police using water cannon and firing teargas shells to disperse farmers who came there to oppose the holding of ‘Kisan Mahapanchayat’ which was aimed to highlighting the benefit of the three farm law made by the central government.

Heavy security has been set up at the Kamila village in Karnal district where the chief minister has going to address the ‘Kisan Mahapanchayat’.

The protesting farmers were seen crossing the barricades and the police were seen using force to disperse them.

The strong police contingent includes four SPs Superintendents of Police and more dozen of DSPs Deputy Superintendents of Police were positioned at the different entry points to stop farmers to enter.

The association of farmers and Bharatiya Kisan union have accused the chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar of attempting to divide the farmers by holding such type of meeting.
Protesting farmers has said that “What was the need to hold ‘Mahapanchayat’ when thousands of farmers have been sitting at the borders of Delhi for the past 45 days, demanding to revoke the farm laws,”.

The deputy commissioner of police of karnal Nishant Yadav has said that there will be strict action taken against the protesters if they tried to disrupt the chief minister Khattar program.

Many leaders of BJP and its alliance party JJP have been facing the Protess for the last many weeks. Even recently chief minister Khattar has conveyed was obstructed by the protesting farmers.
