GHMC Standing Committee greenlights 12 development proposals

In a meeting chaired by City Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi at the GHMC head office on Thursday, the Standing Committee approved 12 development proposals.

The meeting was attended by 12 members of the standing committee, the GHMC Commissioner, and senior GHMC officials, who discussed various civic issues and pending development projects.

The 12 development proposals of total 13 projects were approved, including signing an MoU through CSR for three years with Kamalasana Properties and Services Private Limited, Serilingampally Zonal Commissioner, to manage the central medians between Serilingampally Zonal Office and Chandanagar Railway Station.

In addition, the beautification and development of 9550.02 sq yd of GHMC open space in Bhagyalakshmiin the SerilingampallySerilingampally zone for three months. During the meeting, the committee approved a one-year MoU with Kims Hospital Enterprises Pvt Ltd for the management of Central Media from the RTO Office Kondapur to Alvin Cross Road in Serilingampally.

As well as approval of a Memorandum of Understanding with Vasavi Group LLP and Gemini Edible Limited for various development projects under CSR. There were also approvals for the Model Corridor from Nanakramguda Junction to Gachibowli IT Heights road worth Rs 5.5 crore, the Model Corridor Biodiversity to Leather Institute Left Side worth Rs 6 crore, and the Model Corridor via Kazaguda Junction to Gachibowli worth Rs 5.2 crore, all of which are within Serilingampally.

The committee also approved the acquisition of 28 properties necessary for the construction of a road over bridge from Narni Road to National Highway 65 GSM Mall via RTC Colony in Kukatpally Zone. Rs 5.9 crore on a stormwater drain in the Charminar Zone.

The Committee approved an increase in GHMC maintenance charge contribution from 75% to 5% per annum for Colony Park managed by Colony Welfare Association and Residence Welfare Association. In attendance were GHMC Commissioner DS Lokesh Kumar, CE Project Devanand, Additional Commissioners B Santosh Saroja, Vijayalakshmi, and Jayaraj Kennedy, as well as other officers and committee members.
